The Community Impact Granting program is a competitive granting cycle that takes place in the spring. The priority for funding will focus on initiatives that address important and/or unmet needs that benefit those who live in Sweet Grass County and help the organization applying fulfill their mission.
Sweet Grass Community Foundation provides micro-grants to address unexpected, urgent, or one-time expenses that arise and affect a local organization's ability to fulfill its mission/goals. To be eligible for funding, an organization must be a 501(c)3, government entity, or other IRS recognized charitable entity providing services to residents of Sweet Grass County.
Are you thinking about starting a nonprofit?
Our Fiscal Sponsorship program allows organizations to focus on their mission and not on 501(c)3 requirements. We provide bookkeeping and administration services to our Fiscal Sponsorship organizations, along with fundraising tips and assistance building policies and procedures.
We provide a platform for local organizations, leaders and community members to come together to learn more and discuss community projects. These events will also provide learning opportunities and networking for those who attend.

"This grant helped us bring ‘Every Brilliant Thing’ to our high school. Students were able to role play and have a discussion about suicide, depression, and resilience. The goal, to diminish the shame associated with suicide and mental illness and bring awareness of depression and suicide to students and staff with SGHS."
