Sweet Grass Community Foundation provides micro-grants to address unexpected, urgent, or one-time expenses that arise and affect a local organization's ability to fulfill its mission/goals. To be eligible for funding, an organization must be a 501(c)3, government entity, or other IRS recognized charitable entity providing services to residents of Sweet Grass County.
Requests for recurring expenses, travel expenses, general operating expenses, routine maintenance, or for projects that have been previously funded by SGCF are discouraged. Micro grants will not fund retroactively. Micro grants do not fund payroll expenses.

"This grant helped us bring ‘Every Brilliant Thing’ to our high school. Students were able to role play and have a discussion about suicide, depression, and resilience. The goal, to diminish the shame associated with suicide and mental illness and bring awareness of depression and suicide to students and staff with SGHS."
