A donor or donors who wish to remain involved in the grantmaking process from their fund may establish a donor-advised fund and have the privilege of making non-binding recommendations on grants during their life-time.

A designated fund provides permanent support for a specified charitable organization(s). For many donors, this is an ideal way to provide ongoing support for organizations that they have supported over the years.

Field of Interest Funds
The donor specifies an interesting area and SGCF has the discretion to make grants within the donor’s interest area.

Unrestricted Funds
Unrestricted funds are the most flexible type of fund. These funds are ideal for donors who want to build maximum versatility into their charitable giving and place responsibility with the SGCF Board of Directors to make the decisions on the best use of these funds to address a range of community needs.
