Dawn Curry is the 4th generation of her family to call Sweet Grass County home. After receiving her degree in Biological Sciences from Stanford University, she lived in several places before deciding Big Timber was where she really wanted to live and raise her family. She has worked for over 25 years as a paralegal and been involved in various community organizations. She is excited to work with Sweet Grass Community Foundation in finding ways to improve the health and well-being of this community while keeping the wonderful culture and values that make it such a special place to live.
Back to SGCFThis grant helped us bring ‘Every Brilliant Thing’ to our high school. Students were able to role play and have a discussion about suicide, depression, and resilience. The goal, to diminish the shame associated with suicide and mental illness and bring awareness of depression and suicide to students and staff with SGHS.
