Tara is Program Coordinator for the REAL (Resource Education and Agricultural Leadership) Montana program, and a 5th generation Sweet Grass County cattle producer. She volunteers as Co-Chair for the Women Stepping Forward for Agriculture Conference and is a member of several states and national agricultural organizations.

This grant helped us bring ‘Every Brilliant Thing’ to our high school. Students were able to role play and have a discussion about suicide, depression, and resilience. The goal, to diminish the shame associated with suicide and mental illness and bring awareness of depression and suicide to students and staff with SGHS.
